The Boston Red Sox are an eastern division baseball team and are a part of the MLB. They play all of their home games at the famous Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts. The Red Sox are mostly famous for their long lasting Rivalry against the power house team the New York Yankees. Both being eastern division teams, they play each other in a couple series a season which always leads to sold out seats and a very interesting game. For many years they were coached by Terry Francona which led them to two World Series in 2004 and 2007. This broke the long lasting myth that they will never win again since Babe Ruth had left the team. Currently, they are under new management by Bobby Valentine and are looking forward to a much better season in 2013 than in 2012.

The AL East also known as the American League East is considered the powerhouse of the American League. With five teams competing for the pennant they rack in the most ticket sales out of any division in baseball. The five teams consist of the Boston Red Sox, the Baltimore Orioles, the Tampa Bay Rays, the Toronto Blue Jays, and the New York Yankees. The Boston Red Sox are leading the East with two wins and no losses, with the Baltimore Orioles behind them with two wins and one loss. Third so far is Tampa Bay Rays who has won one game and lost the other two. Tied for last place in the first week of the 2013 season are the New York Yankees and the Toronto Blue Jays who have both lost both their games they have played this year. This is only the first week but we can already see another rivalry season between the two powers teams the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees. The Yankees have now gotten the legendary first and third baseman Kevin Youkilis to play for them. With a rough first week to the season there will be no doubt that they make quick adjustments and changes to produce a great outcome. As for the Boston Red Sox, they are doing the same thing. With Bobby Valentine quickly leaving after one season old pitching coach John Farrel will now be the head manager of the team. Old Time Boston fans would not even recognize the team because of all the changes that had took place, but they were changes that had to be made. On a saddened note toward the 2013 AL East season both David Ortiz and Stephen Drew will most likely begin the season on the disabled list but hopefully rejoin in soon. A player to look for in this division is Jacoby Ellesbury to see how good he does in outfield again. Winning rookie of the year award back in the day, we would like to see him progress as center fielder. A power contact as well as power hitter, if he is healthy enough the Red Sox could really use him in the line-up making him one of the most recognized player for Boston Fans. Former Red Sox player Kevin Youkilis will also be another player too look at who will be player third base for the Sox’s rivals the New York Yankees. He is predicted to bat .265 this season with a .351 on base percentage and a .465 slugging percentage. He will be batting fourth in the lineup this year for the Yankees. Usually for the Red Sox Kevin batted third or fifth so the spot will be interesting to look out for. Many people look for Red Sox Tickets on the secondary market becasue they often sell out. You can find ticket site that have Red Sox tickets without fees or you can purchase them from many websites that charge a service fee at the end. What realll matters is that the cost of the tickets for the total price are the lowest you can get and that is what LetsGetTickets.com has the cheapest overall price for all MLB tickets for every team this season.
