Billy Joel is to play the last ever gig at New York’s legendary Shea Stadium!

The concert entitled ‘The Last Play At Shea, From The Beatles To Billy’  will be held July 16th

Popular Concerts at the stadium include The Beatles, Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Police and Bruce Springsteen and more.

And Mets Fans remember is also the final season the New York Mets will play at the stadium before their move to the brand new Citi Field in 2009.
